International Student Program (ISP)

The international program at Smithfield High commenced in 2004 and has become very successful.  Our school is a popular choice for international students not only because of the programs and facilities we offer, but also because of the beautiful environment in which Cairns is situated.  Click here for to view some of the amazing attractions Cairns has to offer.

All our programs are run in conjunction with the policies and procedures of Education Queensland International (EQI)).  All applications for our full time study, study abroad and short term study tours are lodged through EQI.  (For further information please look at the enrolment section of this webpage)

We offer international programs within the following years:  (Conditions apply)

• Junior Secondary (Years 8, 9 and 10)
• Senior Secondary (Year 11 & 12) leading to the Queensland Senior Certificate
• Study Abroad (3, 6, 9 and 12 months)
• Study Tours (1/2 days to 3 week programs for up to 150 students)
